North Platte, Nebraska-Tawnie Stewart, a former HHS worker for Child Protective Services, claims she was ordered to lie in court. After quitting, she has opened up about the incident, even helping a mother who stands to lose her children for good.

"I didn´t like anything about it," Tawnie says. "I was supposed to be working for these mothers to help them get their children back, but I was being told to work against them. The last straw was when I was told I would have to lie on the stand."

Stewart claims that HHS tactics train CPS workers to tell parents that if they cooperate, things will go better, if not, they will be prosecuted, making it seem easier. In fact, she says, it´s better to make them take parents to court to prove it.
